The Courtyard

In the mood for a summer snack hidden away in a vibrant flood of flowers? Pass through the arched gateway and step into our peaceful courtyard. It is the perfect spot not only for an intimate culinary escape, but also for serving welcome aperitifs, hosting family celebrations, or enjoying a summer barbecue with a group of friends.

The South Terrace

A quiet zone for hotel guests

Facing south on the first floor opposite the reception, this terrace is primarily reserved for our hotel guests. Many love to enjoy their breakfast here or open a bottle of fine wine in the evening under the gentle glow of the lamps and stars.

Upon request, the terrace can also be booked exclusively for your private celebration. Its main advantage is the seamless spatial connection to the Salon and its complete facilities on the same floor. We will gladly help you plan and prepare your event!

Magnificent, ancient lime trees have grown in the peaceful garden behind ***Hotel & Restaurant Šumava since time immemorial. They fill the air with their sweet fragrance, hum gently with the sound of bees, and create a unique atmosphere made for pure relaxation. If you are a passionate reader, find a cozy spot on the bench by our herb spiral. Fitness enthusiasts can get a great workout on our certified outdoor gym, while children can enjoy a game of badminton.

When hosting a garden party with us, you never have to worry about rainy weather—the garden features direct access to our Grand Hall. This perfect blend of beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces is the ultimate setup for your celebration!
